mm mmm im so glad summer is here!

it seems like everything gets a little nicer once the heat kicks in, and everyone seems to find more time in their day to hang out.

for some reason summer always kicks my butt into high gear. eff new years resolutions-when that mercury rises, so does my motivation. im currently sanding down my bike, and polishing it up so it shines shines shines when im riding down the road. [ive taken the pictures, i just cant figure out how to get em on here!] ive si

gned up for sewing classes so i can finally learn how to use a sewing machine, ive been practicing my dutch nearly everyday, and im in the excruciatingly slow process of downloading P90X, the amazing at-home workout system. By the end of the summer, im going to be a lean mean sewing and dutch speaking machine! i might even have regular updates of my progress...

i signed my lease today! i have my own place again! its in a funny house in a really great part of downtown, and it just so happens to be around the corner from J's house :)

yup we're still together and its awesome.

im mildly annoyed. my boss at the job where im going on FOUR YEARS not only gave my delivery job to a girl I RECOMMENDED, but refused to give me a free ice cream sammy FOR MY BIRTHDAY!! THEN..he gave TWO to the delivery girl when she asked!!

so now im back looking for a job. i have an invite to come harvest some pots at the end of june, so thatll probably take care of me for the rest of the summer, weed and money-wise. ive applied to whole foods a GAZILLION times, but they seem to have lost my application..hmm.

J is AWESOME. i know it seems like a small thing, but hes totally into arts&crafts day. instead of making fun of me for it [like an ex who shall not be named], he joined in :)because of him, i feel more confident about really diving into things ive wanted to accomplish:

-becoming a sewing MASTER

-getting more into doing art

-just being a generally better person.

i do wish he'd get a better wireless connection tho. im tired of sitting in the bathtub to get a half decent internet connection.

its been 6 months since my last post! tons has happened in that time, but i wont bore you with a lengthy update, just lil tidbits.

lacking income, i had to move back in with my birthmom. perks? free washing, no worrying if the roommates friends are going to go through my closet and play dress up [BIJAN!!!], and theres always food in the fridge.

about a week ago, i got my settlement check for my bike accident which is sweeeet! im actually using my spankin new laptop that i bought with my winnings right now. im considering moving to oregon if i can find a job up there. im planning on purchasing a camera so i can travel and blog regularly. hopefully my new gadgets and knack for ending up in ridiculous situations can snag me a blog job-writing skills to follow. :)

im dating two guys and let me tell you, its EXHAUSTING. it got to the point where Monday, Wednesday, and Friday I'd go out with Art*, and Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, I'd go out with Jack*. Luckily, these boys are paid, otherwise id be in debt til the next millenium paying for all these dates! recently however, ive been seeing less of art and alot of Jack.

Jack doesnt want a relationship-just relations. . oddly, hes very keen on knowing my whereabouts and company. its a bummer, because im starting to have feelings for him.

Art...well i dont know what he wants. i know hes not seeing anyone else, but i dont feel the same chemistry with him that i have with jack.

september went by real quick.
nothing really is happening with my case with my accident. the lawyers and doctors and paper pushers are all in this circle jerk of retardation, and theres nothing to be done to speed up the process.

i had a rolickin good time at the american medical marijuana association's competition for strain of the year! i met ed rosenthal and rolled the fattest joint ive ever smoked with high times writer kyle kushman.

this weekend was one of the best ive had all summer. i went to LA on wednesday for an interview, then went out dancing with a friend in hollywood. thursday, parky and i went to noho for sushi, and ended up at this joint called tokyo delves. the sushi was meh, but it was a badass party the whole time!

friday, parky and ivan and i went to the rainbow room, where the guy who played leatherface hit on me nonstop, and then proceeded to spit run dmc rhymes at me til i left. saturday, parky and i got some HUGE 34oz beers for $7, and went to the pink floyd 3d laser show at laserium

the title says it all.

so much has happened these last 2 1/2 months since i came home. if you arent familiar with it all, here's the cliffsnotes version:

brother gets in horrible accident, i freak out and leave france within 24 hrs.
get home, hardly to the fanfare i hoped for.
week later, found job.
2 weeks later, found place to live in downtown sj.
3 weeks later, and 3 days before i start my job, i got run over by a car, essentially killing any chance i had of having an awesome summer :(

so basically, this entire summer ive been spudsin it up on my couch. LAME!
but this post is not to update or complain about my current situation.
it is simply an apology.
im sorry for being a lazy lucy and neglecting my rarely read blog, and i promise to be more active in this publicly yuppie-fied narcissistic form of 'dear diary..' and feeble journalism.
